ALCHEMY is hiring an Instrument Technician for oil and gas work in Abu Dhabi on a 90/30 rotation. The role covers calibration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, commissioning and field-instrument support.

Requirements

• Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering
• More than five years of experience in oil and gas projects
• Experience in compressor overhauling instruments is mandatory
• Conduct calibration and overhauling work for control valves and field instruments
• Record calibration data and prepare reports for future reference
• Attend breakdowns and perform corrective actions according to procedures
• Carry out preventive maintenance at plant locations according to defined schedules
• Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, hydraulic control, electro-mechanical and related control systems
• Support troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, installation, inspection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and operations
• Check instrument materials and warehouse quantity for emergency purposes
