Job overview

Alchemy is hiring an HSE Officer for oil and gas work in Abu Dhabi. The role is on a 42/21 rotation and covers risk assessments, HSE policies, safety training, incident investigation and daily site inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or HSE Sciences
• More than five years of oil and gas experience
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory
• UAE driving licence is preferred
• Conduct risk assessments and develop or enforce HSE policies
• Conduct safety inductions and training
• Lead or support incident investigations
• Manage PPE issuance, records and stock
• Daily inspections of pumps, hydrants, tanks and gas levels
• Maintain readiness of H2S and hydrocarbon gas detectors
• Participate in JSA and TRA
• Knowledge of fire safety, H2S safety, offshore safety and PPE compliance
