Alchemy is hiring a Buyer in Abu Dhabi for the oil and gas industry. The role covers supplier negotiations, tendering, purchase orders, inventory management and cost-effective procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum five years of procurement experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector
• Experience in procurement, sourcing and vendor management
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of competitive bidding and tendering procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors
• Manage end-to-end procurement including RFQ, tendering, negotiation and purchase-order issuance
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to meet requirements
• Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
